Maximum Speed Settings – Article

Your incline trainer is built with a few different safety features. One of which is a speed controller. As you adjust your incline up higher, the maximum speed setting automatically adjusts. This is to prevent you from accidentally running at 12 mph when the inline is raised up to 40% or maximum incline.

Here is a chart showing the incline ranges and the maximum available speed at each incline setting.

Incline Setting      Maximum Speed
-6% to -5%                    6 mph
-4.5% to -3.5%              7 mph
-3% to -2.5%                 8 mph
-2% to -1.5%                 8.5 mph
-1% to -0.5%                 9 mph
0% to 15%                   12 mph
15.5% to 25%               8 mph
25.5% to 40%               6 mph
